Why do we have kids? They ruin all the fun.... I leave you to fend for yourself, figure things out yourself. Terrence Malick Re: Cheap TVs on CatchOfTheDay.com 4Dec 03, 2008 12:16 pm That's a phenomenal price. I just bought one. Re: Cheap TVs on CatchOfTheDay.com 5Dec 03, 2008 12:20 pm that's a good size for the bedroom.... 42 is a bit small and 50 probably too big for bedroom..
46 is just about right!! Re: Cheap TVs on CatchOfTheDay.com 6Dec 03, 2008 12:36 pm Just ordered one!
Thats is $600 below my current cost If anyone wants a cheap TV jump on! Re: Cheap TVs on CatchOfTheDay.com 7Dec 03, 2008 12:44 pm well, if it's good enough for you matt, it's good enough for me!!!
just waiting for DH to call me back with permission....hurry up DH!!!! 46 inch is 116cm. Our bedroom is not very big, and even our living areas are not as big as some here. eg open plan area is 8m x 4m approx, so we won't be more than 4m away from tv at any time I think. So I am thinking 46 inch might be ok for our living room? edit - sorry did not see mikkyg's conversion to cm in first post. was not trying to quibble over 1cm, just thinking out loud! Re: Cheap TVs on CatchOfTheDay.com 8Dec 03, 2008 12:44 pm mattwalker Just ordered one! I feel so much better after hearing this. I did have a big, "I'm being scammed somehow" feeling. But, makes a good Christmas present. Now I just have to convince the other half to buy a PS/3. If you are watching from 4m you would probably want 65inch... 3m 50inch would be sufficient.. but that is just my opinion.. Re: Cheap TVs on CatchOfTheDay.com 13Dec 03, 2008 3:32 pm At that price it was always going to happen. Re: Cheap TVs on CatchOfTheDay.com 14Dec 03, 2008 3:34 pm Oh and mikkyG,

Or would HAVE been, rather If it helps, my partner's BIL called me and said that for the same price you can get many different brands of 50inch HD plasma TVs, and he's seen LG 50inch HD LCD TVs on special before at HB HiFi for $1999 more than once, so it is possible to get a good deal again in the future. I don't feel so bad now 1. Roof cleaning and paint - which colour do you recommend? I often see black/ dark grey in use these days but I would prefer… 0 8325 |
