OK... I'm over this. I'm going to delete the niche. I'm not paying money for recievers and all that crap to run wires 20cm.
I just want to connect my dvd player and foxtel to my TV exactly how it is now..... no extra connection, no transmitter, no extra cabling..... but I want those wires to be able to go from behind the appliance to behind the TV without being seen.
I don't know how to be any clearer.....
It must be able to be done WITHOUT EXTRA wiring.
We can put men on the moon, but we can't do this?

Hey Joles. Don't get upset at the people providing the advice if it's going over your head.
The EXTRA WIRING you refer to is what I/we are referring to with the 'running cables inside the wall, from behind the TV down to where ever you mean to store your DVD Player and Foxtel box' - Same thing.
You obviously know that you need some cables to connect the DVD Player and Foxtel to the TV, and that if you want to mount the TV on any wall and not see any cables then these cables will need to be run inside the wall, yeah? That's what we're talking about.
The rest of the info is trying to describe the simple fact that there is more than on way to do just that. You can run a couple of cables or you can run more than just a couple - that depends on your gear and how you want it to work.
