some of the things worrying me: 1. TV will be too high to be viewed comfortably. 2. Heat from the fireplace might damage the TV btw, we are thinking of 50" Plasma. With regards to heat, does it currently get hot above the fireplace? It seems that in order to fit the fireplace below, you need to mount the TV really high. Its not like we'll be watching TV standing up.
