I have just placed my LCD on my wall and I need to set up my PS3 and set top box and was wondering if these are any good to use for this as I want to hide the cables.

That said, if your going to have a PS3 in the loop, you should consider including HDMI in your plans.... Try one of these: http://www.selbyacoustics.com.au/storef ... =235954803 Re: Are these good to use. 3Oct 08, 2008 4:25 pm Wingies Hi, I have just placed my LCD on my wall and I need to set up my PS3 and set top box If you have cabinet on the floor I would just install blank wall plate and holesaw cantre, get a bit longer cables and run cables from units through this blank wall plate directly to the TV inside the wall. Any joiners (=wall plates) degrade signal quality and some of these wall plated are expensive enough. Yeah I was thinking the same wall plates probably aren't the best thing to connect HDMI cables....could degrade the quality like you said. Instead run the cables inside the wall to the cabinets...Im not sure why Im repeating things you said. Re: Are these good to use. 6Nov 17, 2008 9:25 am HDMI loses signal strength, and perhaps quality, over cable distance (have a look at Monster Cable's web site - even they say they can guarantee full 1080P over lengths of up to 7m via their HDMI cables. What happens after that).
