Post the announcement of Stage 4 lockdown in Vic, my builder sent out an email (generic to all customers) regarding potential delays up to 6 weeks due to the limitation of max 5 people on a site and other safe working measures they may have to take.
Question to other members & experts in the forum,
- have any of your builder sent similar notices ?
- In terms of contractual obligations , does anyone know what happens there? Does the builder need to explicitly send me notice explaining the delay and extension of project competition.
- As consumers, are we still protected financially when the delay is due to a pandemic.
