Been reading for a while and thought I would share my journey so far and continuously update throughout, considering I am just getting started. Would love to hear your ideas and experiences, as I am a long journey ahead of me! I will be building the Winchester 34 on our 475m2 block, with the Clarion facade. We have made a couple changes so far, such as a window where the splash back was, turning the front room into a theater and adding sliding doors. I will note all upgrades in a later post. Current Timeline: 3/7/20 - First appointment with Metricon 5/7/20 - Second appointment with Metricon (Paid holding deposit) 31/7/20 - Signed Land Contract (Paid deposit) 26/8/20 - Contract Appointment 27-28/8/20 - Studio M, Electrical, Air Con, Tiling etc appointments 19/9/20 All selections signed off on 22/9/20 Bank pack received I will also be building an other home (new topic) through ABC Homes - Australian Building Company, who are a sister company of Metricon. We now have the bank pack to send off for loan approval. All the hard decisions are made and now on the final steps before the build starts!
