That is expensive for 38sq. Probably its normal in Sydney. Melbourne usually costs less.

If base price is this then you might have to spend another 60 to 70k on top depending on what type of upgrade you choose.

Good luck its look too expensive unless the build worth that much...

If base price is this then you might have to spend another 60 to 70k on top depending on what type of upgrade you choose.

Good luck its look too expensive unless the build worth that much...

I have seen the inclusion which look good to me, if all that is provided then its worth I guess. Subject to quality of workmanship and service.

Fully ducted Day and Night zoning, head this definitely need to upgrade 4-7k extra

I have been shopping a round this is my second week in NSW, Masterton seems to be the cheapest with the inclusion and sqm build size compare to other builders, I still have Metricon to see this weekend to give me figure on my build .
facade design for my test Metricon win so far , will see how it goes, I tried king Homes but they are far more expensive compare to Masterton and close to Metricon, King Homes for 37sqm fixed price(Included 2.7 ground floor ceiling and site cost and driveway ) with classic facade 459,000 and No Floor to ceiling tiles in wet area,, I think this is a very expensive price, I was really hoping i can do the build with king Homes but if add balcony with double glazing im paying 500,000 for a basic design house with high ceiling

I have tried Metricon when I was looking for builders 6 months ago. Base price for Metricon is too low compare to other builders and inclusion in that price is low quality. When you add all the upgrades which you want the price will go up drastically. Even the quality of the build is not that good.

I don't know Masterton and King Homes quality. We would suggest you to use review of existing customer from those builders to get an idea for customer service and quality build.

I will be building in NSW willowdale, I was about to go with Metricon after comparing between the 2 builders then was informed my land will not be registered till April or May next year so i hold off, then priced was jacked by $13000 by Metricon that just took them out of my options for now..
If i was you and happy with size of the build i will choose Masterton Aston design as it has guest room with on suite downstairs and L shape dinning and living area..
a friend build with Masterton in willowdale in 2017 and no issue with the house ,early on the build he had bad time dealing with them and build was delayed for 6 months but when supervisor changed he said the build was super fast.

That's our worry, building timeframe with Masterton. Haven't spoken with actual clients but my only basis are the reviews I read online.
Metricon we are considering, it's less expensive than Masterton but nothing in the estimate is fixed unlike Masterton.
Who are you to build with now?

Hi Karar,
Do you know what upgrade package for the 2.7 ceiling, front door and driveway is called? I've had a tender drawn up with Masterton for the Westwood but didnt see this anywhere.

Back in October they had 2.7 ceiling height to ground floor offer in their ( we dare you to compare) check list ,seems it’s gone now and replaced with different offer,
