The rooms are not enormous so I'm debating whether I go with 190mm wide floorboards (which seem pretty standard in high-end builds in my suburb) or whether I go with 220mm wide boards as I've read in some places these can give more of a perception of space? We do have a large kitchen, dinning and living area so didn't want it looking to busy with the narrower boards. I guess if you're building to sell them it changes it a little as you may not get a return on investment.
