I was going through the Vapour Barriers of the NCC (Part 22.214.171.124) which states "The vapour barrier must be placed beneath the slab so that the bottom surface of the slab is entirely under laid and extends under edge beams to finish at ground level in accordance with Figure 126.96.36.199."
I am building a house in Victoria and the builder is saying this requirement is not for outdoor living (alfresco) where I noticed the vapour barrier has been allowed to fall down below the finished ground level.
Did anyone else notice this for their alfresco?
