Hi Guys ,
i tried to search the group of answers to this question but couldn't find any that were specific to my question. So here goes,
We're on the way to signing a contract. We have a final tender . This includes a couple of provisional allowances- for kitchen , electrical and aircon. Im just wondering if there's any use of including this allowance in the contract as in all probability we will go over this amount anyway . Apart from the obvious fact that its included for ease of finance( bank loan ), are there any other reasons to include a provisional allowance? If its not required for loan purposes, are we better off taking it out of the contract completely and then adding the upgrade cost as and when we go through the selections appointments?
