Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Jul 27, 2020 10:07 am Hi, we are building a narrow single story home. We are deciding between 2 bricks. Phg Smokey Grey and Austral Leisure. We are thinking of using a dark grey roof, window frames and garage door. Has anyone used these bricks to build a small home? Can I please see photos? Thank you Re: What brick did you use for narrow, single story home? 2Jul 27, 2020 1:36 pm Hi, I saw you're building in Austral, if you have time before your selection appointment, you can ask PHG and Austral bricks to send through a list of homes/addresses that have used these bricks previously (and they can also provide a list of where specific colours from Monier roofs have been used). There are lots of homes in Willowdale and a couple in Oran Park that have used these 2 bricks and you could see how they look on slim/narrow houses. After spending a couple of days driving around we opted against Smokey Grey as the indents in the bricks are quite noticeable from the street and that just personally was not what we were looking for. Good luck! Good luck! Thank you, I will do that. What brick colour did you end up going with? So it looks like we finally have some movement on site! Definitely later than expected, but I'll take any progress at this point. That basically means that the villa board is glued to the brick wall with… 3 8315 Thanks again for this information. If you do hear anything different, would be great to know 4 8253 |
