Cladding vs Moulding - Building with Impressions in Perth

Hello All

We've just heard from our builder about a slight change in the elevation and have been given a couple of options to pick from.

Would you recommend cladding or moulding for the front elevation? I am still waiting on the exact material they are going to use but in general want to know the pros and cons. Please see the image below, the cladding/moulding will be the area in light brown with the vertical grooves.

Thank you very much in advance.

Quite normal thing

We built our home with a mix of stone cladding and weather board. Still looks great https://www.instagram.com/p/BuONNDVFbr1 ... ikvx0u64wl

Thank you very much. When you say weather board, it this the same as moulding?
Our builder has advised that they prefer to use Selekta timber composite cladding for the elevation. Any expert here who can weigh in on the pros and cons of this product?

The spacing of the studs looks pretty large especially for a load bearing wall.
