We have been charged quite a large fee to reconfigure and relocate things on the ground floor and upper floor as I didn’t like the way it flowed the way it was on the original plans. Does this sound right? If anyone else moved things around were you charged that much?

If the suspended concrete slab spans a bigger space then they may have to add columns or additional reinforcement, if its a 172mm suspended slab and they have to upgrade to a 257mm slab there is a bit of cost there but I can't see that happening in this case. Our relationship with the owner is good, but I'm not sure if I want to impose putting a pole on their property.
