Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Jun 29, 2020 11:34 am Hi I had put on my final plan changes that we wanted to ensure the wet areas were recessed so that they became level with the rest of the home to avoid steps (as per some display homes) how would this be reflected on the plans/should it be? Re: recess floor in wet areas 2Jul 02, 2020 9:20 am Yes it should be mentioned on the plans - either the slab layout or somewhere on the engineering drawings. If you don't see it anywhere , raise merry hell. I went and had a look at a local open for inspection house a year ago and the real estate agent asked for my opinion. She didn't like it when I pointed out all the inconsistent floor levels - 20mm from the hall to the garage, 60mm from the hall to the wet areas etc etc - all toe snappers. Stewie All sorted guys. Just needed to buy a blade with the correct bush. Dunno how to delete this post, can't find any help file.
