Hi I had put on my final plan changes that we wanted to ensure the wet areas were recessed so that they became level with the rest of the home to avoid steps (as per some display homes) how would this be reflected on the plans/should it be?

Yes it should be mentioned on the plans - either the slab layout or somewhere on the engineering drawings. If you don't see it anywhere , raise merry hell. She didn't like it when I pointed out all the inconsistent floor levels - 20mm from the hall to the garage, 60mm from the hall to the wet areas etc etc - all toe snappers.
