Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Jun 17, 2020 5:19 pm Hi all, We are currently looking at a house and land package, where the house has already been designed for the lot. However, I noticed when looking at the plan of subdivision (land still untitled) that there is a condition that lots with a width of 10m or less on the frontage are only able to have a single garage rather than a double garage. However, the block is an irregular block, where the lot frontage is 7.36m (ie. less than 10m) but rapidly widens, where it is at least 10m on the front building line. Has anyone had similar experience / knowledge on how this restriction would be treated? This is for Whittlesea Council in Victoria, but interested in all answers from any jurisdiction / state. Thanks again for this information. If you do hear anything different, would be great to know 4 5996 4 3594 dimensions on your original plan are inconsistent and with accurate dimensions (including site plan, upstairs and down) i could make a proper scale drawing with furniture… 3 6198 |
