We think (hope ) that excavation will start next month. With only 2 months until Xmas, how far do you think the build will get to before holiday shutdown ? In our estate, most of the EB homes move at a cracking pace to start with - I'd think you'll probably have the frame, the roof trusses and maybe the start of some brickwork (if you're lucky) - that's when they seem to stall a bit. I think you may have the slab and the frame of the bottom half. What may be held up is the roof trusses. Building just before christmas can be very frustrating because there is a massive backlog of orders that must be done before the factories close down for 6 weeks.
