Hi, I know this is going to sound like a silly question but what exactly happens at the 'handover' meeting?
Is it just a fancy name for getting the keys to the new house?
The builder said to allow about an hour or so!
Thanks
Anna

Thanks Anna Re: What happens at handover? 2Oct 01, 2008 2:07 pm From what I've read here it's where they try to convince you that wall really is straight, it just looks curved, that should take about 30 minutes. Then they spend the rest of the time convincing you they'll be back next week to fix the afore mentioned wall, but only if you sign off on the build first
Lol I dont really know but with some of the stuff you read I wouldn't be supprised. Re: What happens at handover? 3Oct 01, 2008 2:24 pm Ours took 15 minutes.
Conversation went something like this: PD: "Do you have the final cheque" Us: Yes, here it is PD CSS leaves for 10 minutes and comes back Gives us: - receipt for the cheque - A folder of information that contains manufacturers information on some of the stuff - an envelope stuffed with keys We shake hands, thank her for her time .... meeting over. It's then to the house to find all the things we want to bring up at 3 month inspection before we start to move in!! The concreter will take and reuse. In my case I bought structural LVLs and scraped them back and used them as joists. 1 5159 Can you give advice on how to get missing certificates needed for a form 21?
