Browse Forums Building A New House 1 May 29, 2020 5:55 pm Hi, my block of land is lower than my next neighbour. So I will be building a retaining wall on the boundary from the rear all the way to the rear of my neighbour’s zero-boundary Garage. I’m just wondering, how does the ag line exit the wall? I will be using concrete sleepers. Does the ag line exit under the lowest sleeper? Does it exit before the end post of my wall? I’m just confused... the engineer who designed the wall did not include details where the ag pipe goes. Thanks Re: Ag line retaining wall exit under sleepers? 2May 31, 2020 1:28 pm The engineer needs to be specific on the design, and where it connects to the drain. We have two retaining wall on boundary, and another 1 across the yard resulting in a tier. All have af pip and all drain to a common area at lowest point, and will be connected to drain post house build. Maybe on ot the "plumber types" on here can help you more, but your engineers drawings should be clear, and backed up by a description too. https://thomasarcherbuild.blogspot.com/p/blog-page.html - Thomas Archer Homes - Custom Nouveau 41 Hi all I am looking to run a water line under my concrete footpath which is directly next to my home, was seeing if this is possible without cutting the entire section… 0 20181 Thanks for the insights, that makes perfect sense, and yeah, I will be leaning on the experience of the excavator operator entirely. 6 16142 Yeah my reasoning is just that those house posts are designed for vertical load not lateral. I just didnt want to risk interfering with the existing house… 4 11540 |
