Hope this isnt a sign of things to come ??? unfortunately this is something I am hearing more and more not just MJH From what i can gather during our CT presentation the hold is caused due to influx of people eligible for the $25k government grant, because it needs to be signed within a certain time frame they’re getting a push along and the rest of us who don’t just need to hold in a waiting pattern I said after the 1st build “ never again “ & now im on my 3rd Re: Third time's a charm ( our 3rd build @ Bingara Gorge ) 23Jul 06, 2020 11:27 pm We finally got our CT back after something like a 6 week wait ! Unfortunately for us the 3rd garage is causing a headache for the drafting team as we need a 1m setback which then affects the window opening to the home theatre. Had they spoke to us before they implemented their own changes we could have given them some input to help make it work instead now will need to wait until we receive it back. Hopefully its not another 6 weeks. In other news we decided to switch back to brick and bring over a facade from another floor plan. We also completed another external colour selections for the changes we made Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ I said after the 1st build “ never again “ & now im on my 3rd Re: Third time's a charm ( our 3rd build @ Bingara Gorge ) 24Jul 07, 2020 9:55 am CD12JD We finally got our CT back after something like a 6 week wait ! In the last 2 weeks we have signed our building contract and did our external selections. Next week we have internals and the week after the electrical... Decided to take a different direction with the facade , asked if MJH would bring over a facade from a different floor plan and to my surprise they were accomodating to our requests South Hamptons facade from the MJH Anchorage Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ I said after the 1st build “ never again “ & now im on my 3rd Re: Third time's a charm ( our 3rd build @ Bingara Gorge ) 28Aug 17, 2020 1:40 am External selections Roof & gutters Monument Fascia Surfmist Cladding to gable Surfmist Cladding to facade Winter Ice Corbels and window trims Winter Ice Bag & Paint Dune Window frames Pearl White Entry door stain Rich Black Garage Perisher White in Ranch profile Rear garage door Dune Colour downpipes Dune Bricks Austral Whitsundays Brampton Patio tile 450x450 Albany Cream Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ I said after the 1st build “ never again “ & now im on my 3rd Re: Third time's a charm ( our 3rd build @ Bingara Gorge ) 29Aug 17, 2020 1:49 am GrahamB CD12JD We finally got our CT back after something like a 6 week wait ! We went from a 0600 x 2700 to a 2380 x 2170 pretty much same as in the children’s retreat but not as wide. Hopefully all these bigger windows i have put in won’t get knocked back at basix 🤦🏻♂️ I said after the 1st build “ never again “ & now im on my 3rd Re: Third time's a charm ( our 3rd build @ Bingara Gorge ) 30Aug 17, 2020 2:05 am Managed to get sometime in an open studio appointment to view the standard inclusions and upgrades... Even though i had a taste of what the prices of upgrades were in the external selections i was still blown away with some of the quotes hahaha We have a flooring promotion with our home but we are leaning towards going with Quick Step flooring throughout the whole house except for the home theatre and wet areas... Im a sucker for dark floors and white kitchens, luckily for me my wife has the same tastes so we should be good come the big day. These are some of our selections however not locked in yet I said after the 1st build “ never again “ & now im on my 3rd Re: Third time's a charm ( our 3rd build @ Bingara Gorge ) 31Aug 17, 2020 2:08 am Bathroom and en-suite... unsure on cabinet colours here but leaning towards charcoal Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ I said after the 1st build “ never again “ & now im on my 3rd Re: Third time's a charm ( our 3rd build @ Bingara Gorge ) 33Aug 18, 2020 2:42 am Went into colortile today to view the range of tiles MJH have on offer without being up against the clock... i keep returning to the Albany range of tiles as ive always had a soft spot for travertine style tiles. We have the Albany Cream for the patio and leaning towards the Albany White for the bathroom and en-suite . Would love to use Charcoal profiled cabinetry in these rooms. Hi ErinD, Greenbridge East is where you would want to be... the blocks are larger, there is less restrictions ( solor hot water requirements in fairways etc ) and you won’t have to worry about the traffic when they do open it up from the hume hwy Get onto the Greenbridge East fb page as i know a few people that are selling up due to the long wait everyone experienced for registration. Spent a little more then expected but that seems to be a common occurrence so it didn’t come as a surprise lolol I haven’t actually looked at how many clipsal led downlights we have but I reckon the count is around 80 Quite a few 2 way switches Few data points around the home, extra power points and a horizontal x3 USB charger in the study I had the NTD moved from the default location of the garage to the study They didn’t have a good selection of bathroom 3in1’s so i just went with the ducted exhaust fan option and will look at upgrades after handover Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ I said after the 1st build “ never again “ & now im on my 3rd Re: Third time's a charm ( our 3rd build @ Bingara Gorge ) 40Sep 14, 2020 8:15 pm Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ I said after the 1st build “ never again “ & now im on my 3rd 9 24791 So it looks like we finally have some movement on site!
