Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Builder in Adelaide 36Jun 03, 2007 11:29 pm Hi Susan
We just signed up with Seville Homes - hoping it all goes well given what a large investment this all is. We purchased a block at Mawson Lakes (Bridges) - 420 sqm and are building the new modified display (Isabella) 280 sqm. I will be interested to see who you eventually choose and am happy to swap ideas/designs if you wish. Cheers Beetle Re: Builder in Adelaide 37Jun 05, 2007 12:21 am Have just started building our new home with Rossdale.
So far am very impressed with the overall quality and standards employed. Our site stands out from everyone else due to the cleanliness. The site was cleaned and levelled again after the slab was laid and each morning I walk past the site is tidy and clean, even ater the past weeks rain there is very little mud to speak of compared with muddy wheel tracks and pools of water on all the other sites. I can't even see any track marks from where the bricks have been delivered. Our slab was laid on 24th May and they have completed all the wall and roof frame with guttering fixed today, less than two weeks. The slab has also been treated all around the perimeter with what looks like a grey paint which our building supervisor tells us completely seals the slab against any damp penetration. I have not seen any other slab treated in this way. Have even run long lengths of flexible drainage pipe from the gutters to the road to take all storm water away from the site. Have attached some photos so hope they are OK as am not sure if I have done it right. regards PDU Re: Builder in Adelaide 38Jun 05, 2007 12:22 am Photos have not come through, can anyone help with advice.

Am interested to know if your house was completed by the finish date in your building contract. We are many months past the contract completion date, paying extra rent and still don't have a finish date.
