Browse Forums Building A New House 1 May 12, 2020 7:10 pm Greetings All, Does anyone know which SE Melbourne suburbs is dual occupancy/duplex friendly? I have had bad experience in Blackburn, we couldn't get dual occupancy approved - whitehorse council do not allow new crossovers on my lot to prevent losing of street parking even through there were duplex on my street build some years ago. It is possible that my street was recently rezoned. We want to do a KDRB for a duplex multi-generation home in any of these suburbs and want minimum resistance from council planning: blackburn/mitcham/nunawading/vermont/ringwood We want to live next to our elderly parents but not together in the same house... Any input is most appreciated Thanks in advance After some ideas on making our patio kid friendly . Currently we have exposed aggregate. The patio faces west and is always in sun even though it has a shade directly… 0 3527 Even if it's not being sub-divided and you want to keep it as Torrens title, you will still need to talk to a town planner or Council themselves, to see if they will allow… 1 11013 Give Jonathan a call. Tell him you know me. He is in my opinion the best surveyor I have ever worked with. His number is 0425 285 622 All the best Simeon 3 12372 |
