I'm not sure whether it was because we lived in another state, so never had the luxury of drive by progress checks or because of our location, our comms were email and phone based and we thought we were adeqautely in the loop. They stuck to time and budget which obviously help. And a fantastic CSR too. Land took most of last year to title which was frustrating but obvioulsy not builder's fault. However our house has been nearly finished for about a month, we even got an email asking for final payment on Sept 19th (needless to say, we haven't paid it ) and every time I ring supervisor he says it will all only take a couple of days. Yes, but which couple - a couple in October, November, December, 2009????
