I bought a lot of land in the Northwest Sydney in the Blacktown council precinct. Upon registration of the land, I came to know that the developer has placed a pram crossing in the center of the lot. there is also a gully pit on the right side of the lot (this was known to me in the lot plan I received when I bought it). My builder says there is not enough space to build a 3m driveway as there needs to be 1m clearance with the pram crossing and there is just not enough space. because of the gully pit, they cant flip it either. the developer says that the council had made them put it there and pretty much did not give them an option to put it anywhere else. talks are going on with the council and the developer, but this is so frustrating and loss of time.
Anyone else faced this issue? any thoughts on what could be my options or path forward?
