Most importantly, which way is north? Orientation has a HUGE influence on the comfort of your home, & how much you'll pay to heat & cool it. In Australia you want your living areas to face north. As the sun is in the northern sky, your living areas will be light. The sun is higher in the sky in summer, lower in winter. So summer sun will be shaded from northern windows by appropriate length eaves, while in winter the sun will stream through those same windows. Designing a home to these principles is called "passive solar design". I'd recommend you read all about it on the brilliant government Your Home website. https://www.yourhome.gov.au/passive-design Concentrating on getting the orientation right, & what's appropriate for your climate. Looking at your plans, it looks like you have a nice, wide frontage, probably on a good sized block.
