We gave an upslope block with about 2-2.5 elevation change, so are thinking of a split level arrangement. Getting a rough idea from the site works and costs would be helpful from such a site inspection. Make sure it's a construction manager going there not the sales consultant. We had a difficult block and sales people said it was ok when they looked at it on paper (some even went by and said it's fine) but construction managers said no..so it's worth it to not waste your time with a builder that won't build on your block.
