Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Mar 20, 2020 8:49 pm Hey guys Currently typing this from my phone so I can't go into heaps of details. My slab right now looks terrible, it's covered in cracks and at night with light shining on its ced bumpy. Before slab pour my inspector found 15+ defects which were ignored by the builder. The builders engeneening company did one inspection 11 days before pour. All my inspections was done after they done there's. The builder then had the engeneening company write me a letter saying all the issues were fixed which I know would have been impossible. If anyone else has just there slab down can you please take some photos at night with lights on it. I just parked in front of mine and had lights on Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Re: Slab issues 2Mar 21, 2020 7:37 am The slab should be inspected and photographed in ideal conditions ie during the day in sunlight, when dry, preferably cleaned/swept or after rained on That way all the soil has been washed/cleaned off the surface.
