Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Soho Living townhouses 3Jun 09, 2020 9:15 pm Cassie L Hi, I am looking at buying a townhouse to be built by them. Did you end up getting any advice or reviews on them? I visited their past project clients, did the door knocking. Out of 5 doors, one answered and told me everything of how the construction is. I did it at night, maybe I would have received more feedbacks if I did that during the day Re: Soho Living townhouses 9Sep 12, 2020 9:00 pm Cassie L Thanks for that! They have some townhouses coming up in Sunbury that I was looking at. They're part of a development though so not sure there'd be any gifts available unfortunately! DO NOT GO BUILDING WITH THIS MOB, the finished product is bad. Re: Soho Living townhouses 10Oct 07, 2020 6:21 pm robert60 Cassie L Thanks for that! Thanks Re: Soho Living townhouses 13Feb 28, 2021 8:14 am SEP Hhmm Any more updates with this builder. Looks like build never actually start, still awaiting. Land settled in November 2020, and building permits have not been lodged What area did you purchase in? Did you notice any changes in your initial plans to the final building plans? Re: Soho Living townhouses 14May 12, 2021 7:05 pm Finally a real review on google. Anything else from finished builds Avoid this company at all costs. It is a shame google does not let you rate a company 0 stars. There is always constant delays in construction with Soho, make sure that if you are buying off the plan you add at least +18 months to the completion date they give you. Their customer service is atrocious and they barely respond to your email requests. There are always constant delays with construction and every time they give you an ETA it always further gets delayed. Be prepared to be let down constantly. I am forever following up email requests and rarely get responses, they just do not respond hoping you will forget about it and just accept the poor quality products they give you. The project management team is clearly incapable of doing their jobs failing interms of updating and communication to buyers from start to finish. when we initially moved into Aspect Residencies we had no gas for 3-4 months after initially we were told it was only 2 weeks away upon settlement. So instead they gave us a portable electric cook top that would take 30 minutes to boil water. The houses are very poorly designed houses, with extremely cheap quality materials, cheap water paints are used to paint the walls which scratch and smudge if you lightly brush up against it , they constantly do low quality touch up jobs to make sure it is done as cheaply as possible, with staff who are ill-equipped to do the job. Water pressure is extremely low for all water taps / showers / back yards. Garage is full of concrete dust and cracks, and soon as you walk into the house from the garage the dust gets caught on your feed and goes onto your carpet. They have poor wardrobe storage with no shelving and only coat hanger space, Their inbuilt fridge doors constantly snap. The garage concrete has cracks everywhere, Garage door paint is peeling, balustrades have scratches and are poorly touched up as a cheap work around They also even bribe customers to write good product and google reviews with gift cards! So take all these good reviews with a grain of salt multiple occ properties are always billed by trades at a premium, rarely per sqm for the lot. You either have trades you know whoe will do by sqm or youre going to get… 1 2247 I would be wary. Is you site demilished but nothing else done? Sounds like liquidity problems to me.
