Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Feb 26, 2020 6:53 pm Hi Guys, I'm doing a KDRB project in the western suburbs of Melbourne. I'm required to have an underground pit installed for the electricity and have received the quote for $5,311 + GST! The electricity pole is literally across the road (max 10m) and there is already a pit 1 house away from mine on the same side of the street (again max 16m away) Does that cost sound reasonable? Re: KDRB - Overhead Power to Pit Cost - JEMENA 2Feb 28, 2020 1:56 pm Yes, fairly reasonable. There was a forum post on another website where someone was quoted over $10. I paid $4400 3 years ago for a 16m run (United Energy). The fact that there is another pit nearby at a neighbor is irrelevant as it's one new pit per property, and they do not tap from the pit as I understand. Your best bet might be to go visit the display homes and walk around in them, and take photos. Get a feel for it in person instead of deciding from the floor plan. Thanks 0 21099 Hi, Can anyone give me approx. price for overhead cupboards. TIA 0 16593 |
