Agree. We are going with Kingston or Duke.
Re: Sahara 40 74Aug 08, 2020 12:33 pm I sent a friend of mine to check it out , and he said people were still working there . Re: Sahara 40 76Aug 08, 2020 12:44 pm Stage 4 restrictions for construction industry was not more than 5 carries at the site . So I don't think it 'll impact. Builders do run parallel jobs on the same site when the tradies are free. But now they have lots of houses going around so, my guess is they don't push the dates and not much impact. Also the more time the building takes builders have to pay more insurance and can't take the liability. They take few jobs at a time, before they start another one they have to finish the existing jobs to get a space. I agree to you, but my site supervisor advice me that delay can expect from third party companies as they got restrictions on number of jobs per week undertakes. He advice me to expect one month delay in work carried out from now onwards. God know what going to happen. Anyone else in the same situation? Re: Sahara 40 78Aug 08, 2020 10:37 pm mahesh.mawalage Yes our construction is going ok for now . I agree with jaymatmel. It depends on the floor plan . We had to pay around $2700 for Additional shower in power room and $1000 for the guess room . Hi everyone, just saw the discussion here and would like to share some info. We are building Aegean 46 KDW and convert the study into a guest room with semi-ensuite. Henley charged $2,635 for this option and after upgrade by adding all wall tiling with Cat 5 tiles, floating vanity, upgraded basins and tapware. It costs us nearly $7,500 for having the guest room. Just got the tender doc, site costs it's nearly $70K!!! Stormwater items nearly $10K, traffic management almost $18K! We chose Henley as we are fond of the floorplan and inclusions. But the site costs really put us off. Re: Sahara 40 79Aug 09, 2020 6:49 am yyysee mahesh.mawalage Yes our construction is going ok for now . I agree with jaymatmel. It depends on the floor plan . Henley charge us site cost 20K and final quote is $425 K for sahara 42 sqm. Re: Sahara 40 80Aug 09, 2020 9:32 am yyysee sounds like you are doing knockdown construction. Could you tell us a bit more about your site? Level sitting? Slope? Does it requires a retaining wall. Soil classification. Perhaps you can see this in the quote item. More importantly is it level "P"? Which means they have to run the piers in the slab. Do you have a pool? |
