My frame does not sit on the slab at the edge all the way around. At some parts the slab is protruding a maximum of 40mm. We have an ant barrier in concrete that sits below the slab and this is also where they start the bricks. I have uploaded two pictures to show you what I mean. The worry I have is that water will stay on the 40mm concrete edge and not drain down through the weep holes and cause rot problems with the wooden frame later on.
