Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Feb 02, 2020 1:22 pm Hi everybody, new to this forum so still finding my feet. My partner and I have made the decision we would like to build our forever family home. We are currently living in Rochedale South Brisbane. We own the house we are in now, we brought as a renovation project, but we have just welcomed a baby boy to the family and as the family grows we will need a bigger family home to settle. We have been looking at the options of house and land packages, buying land with a house on already and demolishing and starting again. But we are pretty rookie in terms of where to start and what to do, so I’m just looking for some Advice. Many thanks Re: First steps for a newbie 2Feb 02, 2020 1:29 pm We've built a couple of times. So my suggestion is wait, save up some money if possible, take your time looking at display homes etc. Following these simple steps will help you mitigate unwanted costs, have your expectations met and give… 0 4534 a building inspector should be able to tell you about any major problems but we need a floor plan with dimensions to clarify options for extra bedrooms ... sometime an… 1 8718 11 41615 |
