Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Jan 23, 2020 6:35 pm Hi all, I have just fallen in love with the Caesarstone "RAW CONCRETE" I saw as a benchtop in store. BUT.... on reading on Caesarstone website, they suggest it is more maintenance compared to the polished stones.. Has anyone have the benchtop installed, and what are your thoughts on their polished finish Vs their concrete finish. or should I just stick with a Laminex Benchtop. cheers Pat. Re: Caesarstone Benchtop Problems?? 2Jan 23, 2020 7:21 pm We have the fresh concrete on our island- and yes it is super high maintenance. I imagine raw and sleek are worse given they are darker and would show up more. We also have raven along the window and even though it’s polished, it’s equally high maintenance especially catching the light. I find that it’s awful to try and keep streak free even when I use the caeserstone products. My granite was a dream in comparison.
