Even worked on Sunday! The outside still isn't painted however. They told us they needed to be done by Wednesday, I think they ran out of time! Pleasantly surprised to see tiles in yesterday as well, the SS didn't mention that happening We are locked out as of last Thursday though img]https://forum.homeone.com.au/u/92048_1596675636.jpg[/img] Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Building Grange 22 by Coral Homes in QLD -> https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=97426&p=1860633#p1860633 Re: Coral Homes Grange 22 Build - QLD 84Aug 06, 2020 11:03 am Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Wonder if they're going to paint the render... I don't like the way this looks with our brick choice The colour is supposed to be silver tea set... I can't tell if it is! Landscaping underway now. All issues rectified bar 1 - and there were very few and very minor. Walking out after handover it was night time and lights showed that there were three matt tiles in amongst the wall of gloss tiles in the splashback. No idea how the tiler could have missed that but getting fixed Monday. Couldn't see the difference during the day unless you ran your hands over the tiles but once seen, never unseen Re: Coral Homes Grange 22 Build - QLD 87Aug 06, 2020 2:59 pm Looks Beautiful!!! Did you get an independent inspection done for PCI? So silly about the tiles though LOL. No issues not already identified were found. Re: Coral Homes Grange 22 Build - QLD 90Aug 11, 2020 10:46 am From Saturday, plumbing things in and oven, cook top and rangehood delivered! We also started to build our side gate and fence, only managed to finish the fence for the right of the garage on Sunday. We also managed to put together and do a coat of stain on the gate and fence... I never want to sand wood ever again hahah. I'm just wondering, is it too much of me to ask them to move the duct and install the light? Or should I ask for them to add the light next to it and we'll just have to add a second on the other side of the duct after handover. Overall, there's a missing $110-$130 (cant remember lol) downlight and it's going somewhere xD Building Grange 22 by Coral Homes in QLD -> https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=97426&p=1860633#p1860633 Re: Coral Homes Grange 22 Build - QLD 93Aug 19, 2020 12:59 pm Harweeeee I've noticed they put an air-con duct right over the kitchen island and there's actually meant to be a light there & the light obviously hasn't been put there. I am pretty sure that it the plan the aircon guys go by (based on where the ducts are in our house anyway) Re: Coral Homes Grange 22 Build - QLD 94Aug 21, 2020 7:27 am bestspecials Harweeeee I've noticed they put an air-con duct right over the kitchen island and there's actually meant to be a light there & the light obviously hasn't been put there. Omfg I'm drooling over the house, it's better than I expected, and all of the colours go perfect together. This was the first time we saw the carpet in the house, so of course I had to take my shoes off and feel the plush with my feet, the SS laughed xD. It feels so much more soft than I thought, and somehow the colour even looks darker than at the showroom, which I love. I only managed to get a few photos on the day, I was too distracted playing with the air-con screen and cooktop etc. Only found 2 things of concern also, the top bathroom ensuite drawer sticks when opening and has to be adjusted, and the tiles behind the toilets haven't been grouted in just yet. The shower rails/heads were missing too, as they were on back order, but they were put in Thursday 27/08/2020 and Dean sent a photo through. As for the light missing above the bench & replaced with an air-con duct, they put 2 lights either side of the duct to fix it, which I'm ok with. Darbecca to go through today 28/08/2020... wonder what they'll find Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Building Grange 22 by Coral Homes in QLD -> https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=97426&p=1860633#p1860633 Re: Coral Homes Grange 22 Build - QLD 98Aug 28, 2020 2:09 pm It is so exciting when it all comes together.
