Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Nov 15, 2019 8:50 pm I’m looking to do a knockdown rebuild on my block which has about a 3.5m fall from front to back on a 650sqm block, sloping more from right to left. The build area would only have about a 1-1.5m slope downwards. Metricon advised that means the house will sit about half a metre from street level and they can’t level it to make it street level. Has anybody else had any other solutions offer by any other builders? We don’t need to be entirely level with street but would like to be close enough. With the fall at the back if was wanted to build a pool does that help given the pool we can place where the steeper slope is (towards the left of the land)? What solutions could be offered to ensure we are close as possible to street level? Can we do this via volume builder or would we need to go custom? Thanks!
