Hi, can anyone advise how it worked on their own new build with trenching from the house to the road for water supply, sewage pipes, stormwater pipes, electricity, phone (NBN) etc.
Is there one common trench dug, then the tradies run the pipe work or conduit, and bury it, then the next trade lays on top?
It appears we are getting slugged trenching costs by each sub contractor which does not seem right.
We also have a 35m driveway to the road so this could amount to a lot of money, more than had been allowed for in the original contract with our builder.
