House and land package in Bardia

Hi everyone,

Can some one please provide me some advice.
I bought house and land package in Bardia signed contract last year, which was fixed price tender. And now the builder are charging me $5500 more because the fire rating from council came higher and need to upgrade some Of the stuff.
Not sure if I have to pay this price. Has anyone had this issue before.

I know this is an old post, but $5500 isnt too much. You should find that it probably covers double glazed glass, and maybe even increased ceiling insulation or something along those lines.

Have you got your BASIX adjustment?
