Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Oct 18, 2019 2:12 pm I'm planning to install active ventilation for my roof to reduce heat build up and to meet the new construction code moisture venting standards. My house is a new Metricon Liberty 45 with dark concrete tiles and sarking. There are a number of products available for this ranging from wirlybirds to solar roof ventilators. Does anyone have any experience with these ventilation products, and can recommend an installer in Sydney? Re: Roof ventilation products 2Oct 19, 2019 5:30 pm We have installed one Edmonds Airomatic and will put in another unit in our single story place. I have the current one set on auto mode and it runs low fan full time and ramps up when temp goes over 30 or humidity over 70% --------------------------------------------------------------------- Check our Homeone build blog here Re: Roof ventilation products 3Oct 20, 2019 9:57 am darb74 Thanks for this advice. I checked CSR Edmonds Airomatic details and it looks like the right product for my needs and is well marketed & supported. I will need 2 for my place. After reading the details I think such ventilation systems should mandatory inclusions for new home builds.
