We finally took the plunge and commenced our building journey late last year. Just sharing our journey, please feel free to comment, leave suggestions and let us know if there are specific things we should be looking out for at each stage.
We presented our concept sketch to the builder and they brought it to life. Our initial design now belongs to the builder LOL.

Our brickwork is near completion and we will be meeting our site supervisor soon. The images may look shocking but the walls will be rendered.Does anyone have thoughts on what we should discuss with the site supervisor or the workmanship of the brickwork?ThanksFront of house and mess (external)Lounge/front (internal)

We're shuffling along comfortably. We can almost see the end of the build in sight, but getting overwhelmed with all the things we need to do post handover!
Thanks amilelka, that's reassuring to know.
How is your build progressing?

Today went to meet with the site supervisor and it seems to be progressing along nicely. Supervisor is happy with the brickwork and went through the process. He assures that once the truss is complete, it will be checked and signed off by a qualified engineer and himself.
Upper floor truss system delivered and installed. Should be complete by early next week.
