Re: What’s your approximate build cost? 9Sep 30, 2019 2:24 pm building in SA similar to yours Double story Approx 370 Sqm 4 bed + study Open plan kitchen / dining / living No Butlers, walk in pantry Alfresco 3m ceilings downstairs, 2.7 up Mid range inclusions including Air con Stone in kitchen / bathrooms Tiles to ceiling in wet areas in en-suite only bi-fold doors to alfresco quote cost was around 520k (with 60k allowance for site works). Same BR, study, ceiling heights to downstairs etc What alters the price DRAMATICALLY is Tiling (and whether all bathrooms are tiled to ceiling) Flooring Joinery Heating and Cooling Our block slopes about a metre over 40m (so it's there, but not steep) I'm sure we've all had a few of those WFT moments, I know I did when our first quote came in just shy of 900.... The last home I lived in didn't have a pool and when i went to sell it the agents were not happy, even telling me to put one in to sell the place.
