I believe if it is stated on the plan then it would be standard, but only with standard finish laminex bench top.
I am not an expert and everything is so confusing...
Even the laminate benchtop isn't included

We are in draft phase with coral homes at the moment, would you please let me know how much did coral charge you to upgrade the height from 2550 to 2700??? TIA Was charged 2900 approximately Re: Coral Homes - Noosa 23MK11- North Brisbane 65Jan 08, 2020 12:47 pm We had our clipsal appointment yesterday, we went in not wanting to spend money as standard inclusions should be enough however they believe to light the whole house we will need an extra 30 lights!!! Now for us this is a shock, another $1,600 on lighting for rubbish batten lights. So a tip for those who are first time builders it seems literally EVERYTHING is an extra but luckily enough we are doing most electrical after hand over. We have not yet paid the full deposit to Coral Homes as all our savings went on the Land for it to settle so waiting on a update when the bank will be able to pay that so we can book our Colours appointment! So basically you cannot say “no thanks I’ll just take the inclusions and I’ll be doing the rest of it myself -then walk away? Because that was our plan to do 😂 We have 21 batten holders, 13 sockets and few other things included in our elegance inclusions I was really hoped that would be enough to get the plans signed off and do the rest of of it after handover.... Building Noosa 23 with Coral Homes. North of Brisbane. Re: Coral Homes - Noosa 23MK11- North Brisbane 67Jan 08, 2020 1:18 pm Yes we are doing it all ourselves we're sticking with standard, the sockets and everything else were perfectly fine! I think it'll be better doing after handover anyway because then you get a feel of where needs light and where a light can be placed etc. Re: Coral Homes - Noosa 23MK11- North Brisbane 68Jan 09, 2020 1:25 pm make sure they mark the plans to install the battens offset front any framing. Otherwise when you swap the down lights out after handover you'll be patching holes for days. TIA Was charged 2900 approximately Thanks for this, we ended up adding the 2700 height to our plan and the cost is based on per sqm2. so ours ended up being 3276 as we have floor area of 244 sqm2. was told it would be 17 per sqm2 if we want to add bricks on top instaed of cladding FC sheets. viewtopic.php?f=31&t=97677&p=1862417#p1862417 Re: Coral Homes - Noosa 23MK11- North Brisbane 71Jan 13, 2020 4:57 pm Hello everyone... hope you all had a great holiday !!! Fingers crossed!!! Re: Coral Homes - Noosa 23MK11- North Brisbane 76Feb 04, 2020 12:29 pm Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ We have finished our electrical plan and kept it as standard as we could, we've change the cooker gpo to a 2 point instead & a LED downlight for the master shower which isn't an inclusion as it isn't a batten light. So overall we spent $132, we also have our colours appointment booked for the 24th. Re: Coral Homes - Noosa 23MK11- North Brisbane 80Feb 05, 2020 10:03 am Just noticed your thread that you are building in Newport. We built with Coral in Newport and have been in our house for 18 months. We are really happy with our house. Ask the council if there is a chance of getting build over easement exemption. Sometimes easements are unused and 24cm is not all that much. Good luck. And yes any builder… 2 13781 In Qld it is a requirement that a builder must have a cost breakdown, for building a home to the same specification, with the same inclusions and the same finish. So ask… 1 4355 May I ask why you chose not to use GJ Gardiner? I'm actually meeting with one of the sales guys tomorrow for an appointment. Definitely not signing anything yet… 3 13260 |
