Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Sep 19, 2019 7:19 am Hi all, We recently completed the frame stage and had our private inspection done on Monday. The report came back with a number of defects that we’ve sent on to the site supervisor for resolution. We received the invoice for the frames stage last week. Just wondering do you wait until all defects are fixed before paying the invoice? Does it delay the build if you tell them you won’t pay until it’s confirmed the defects have been fixed? Thanks in advance. Re: Private inspections and progress payments 2Sep 19, 2019 8:34 am In Perth we don't have the regulatory stalemate legal frame work you have in the east Coast.
