My sale rep from old me that wall hang vanity comes standard and I already included all over heads cupboards just not the finished like gloss or semi gloss I thought that was a pre start thing. The double glazed window our rep didn’t add it we are first home buyers and not much experience I had to even research to get to know all these stuff. We upgraded to double glazed windows which was about $15k through our own supplier. Re: Building with MOMU @ Duncraig 43May 17, 2020 11:54 am Brett0004 So how have you found the build with MoMu, we hopefully are pouring our slab in a week or two. To be honest our experience has been good up to now but the hanging around waiting for something to start is frustrating. it seems like after all the boxes are ticked and everything signed you just hang there waiting, waiting, waiting. It doesnt help when you read in the Perth news that there supposidly a 30% downturn in the building industry. HELLO GET THEM AROUND TO MY PLACE THEN !!!!! Hi Brett, my experience with MOMU has been mixed so far. Time wise, they took a long time to start, but once the slab was laid, it progressed fast. The initial hiccup was due to them messing up big time with some council and power-line related issues. I had to personally get involved to sort them out. Namely, there's a rule that you don't have to wait for the title to transfer to you before submitting your plans for approval. MOMU didn't know that, and didn't believe it once I told them so. Finally I had to get the requisite form from the council myself and get the ball rolling. At the same time, they applied to Western-power to shut down power for my street for a week (due to overhead power-lines). That was a dumb idea, and obviously got refused. After a lot of to and fro, the issue was finally resolved using simple Tiger-tapes. They wasted more than a month of valuable time through their ignorance. However, once these issues were sorted, the build has progressed quicker than my expectation. I think their field personnel are very capable, including the CLO. The problem must be with their back office personnel. Overall, they are an excellent team to build with, if you have a bit of patience. Using SweetHome3D for my designs.... My sales consult has been fantastic but as soon as you start dealing with the office it seems like they dont talk to each other. There seems to be a big disconnect between what you have agreed to with the sales consult that you have been designing the concept with for months, then you get the drafting plans back and things are left off or changed, and then pre start stuff has changed in the specification, so then it is back to the consultant to try to get it all sorted. It starts to get frustating. Fingers crossed our build goes well. Thats if it finally starts. Re: Building with MOMU @ Duncraig 45May 18, 2020 9:14 am Morris45 Ooh ok. I want the whole en-suite but still I think 6k is over stretching it. Because I spoke with another rep from content and he said it would be about 3k for both bathroom and not 6k And content is supposed to be more expensive then Momu. We tiled to the roof in our ensuite (not including ensuite toilet) with HGWA for $1795. Not a bad price we thought. Hope that helps for comparison anyway!
