I have got Axon cladding currently in my base quote from the builder.
(New Home, Brisbane City Council, Queensland, 2 storey).
If I downgrade from Axon to EasyLap (both are james hardie products), then the discount provided to me is only $30 per square meter. I was considering to do EasyLap on rear of my house and one on the other side which will have a lower visibility. The total savings based on sqm is $800.
My questions to the group:
1. Is it worth downgrading?
2. Is my builder providing the right sqm discount? $30 per sqm seems little low to me.
