Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Dec 26, 2006 11:36 am My partner and I are looking at building a period home in Melbournes' inner west. Most likely a Victorian or Federation. Checkout http://www.harkawayhomes.com.au/harkawayrange1.htm as an example of what I mean.
Anyway, does anyone know of any good melbourne builders that build in this style? We are considering the following builders also:- - Keogh Homes - Harkaway Homes - Glencrest Homes - Country Lane Homes - Farmhouses of Australia - Dream Builder Homes - Blue Hills Cottages Thanks !! Re: Building a period home (Victorian) in Melbourne 2Dec 26, 2006 11:45 pm I've got a friend who is currently building a Federation-style home with Fernhaven Homes. I don't know if they build out in the West, though (my friend is building in the SE).
She seems quite happy with them & they seemed very open to customising the plan. Re: Building a period home (Victorian) in Melbourne 4Jan 09, 2007 1:09 pm Somebody has built a magnificent Victorian replica house on a residential block Karoo Road Rowville, it looks like it has been there forever and all the other homes have been built around it - I know its not the same area as you but maybe worth a drive to look....you could even knock on their door and ask them who built it. Its worth doing things like that before you make your decision as it is such a big decision to make. Re: Building a period home (Victorian) in Melbourne 5Jan 09, 2007 1:29 pm Hey Joe,
