Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Aug 04, 2019 12:57 am Hi everyone , we are thinking about having a private building inspector for our new build. Is it worth having one, and how much do they charge? Also, any recommendations for private building inspector covering south eastern suburbs in Melbourne? Please suggest, thanks 🙏 Re: Private Building inspector 2Aug 04, 2019 8:07 pm We are getting a handover inspection and he charges $165/hr Re: Private Building inspector 3Aug 09, 2019 12:09 pm You can get a full built inspection package for around 2k. Everyone says they are worth it, but we are not up to that stage yet. I'm not in Melbs, so can't help you there. Good luck I would send it to the certifier who is technically your representative and working on your behalf not the builder's 1 2267 If you already have a contract, is the inspection cost stated in there? If not they would be forced to issue you a variation which you could of course object to. 12 25866 I do enjoy the drama:-D In his latest two videos he has started bringing security guards to site, I am waiting for the punch on to begin lol 6 45547 |
