Shower mixer tap touching shower frame...thoughts?

This is the outcome of building with a long established project builder who claims quality. What are your thoughts with the mixer tap touching the shower frame?

For sure...it definitely is. Have seen many houses and have never ever come across one like this.
Display home quality is questionable.
that looks bad, but where is it on the plans? either someone screwed up the plans, or someone screwed up when reading the plans

Plans are correct. It all comes down to the tradie and SS.
Error after error of not following plan.

Why’d you build with them in first place if their display home isn’t even ok?
That tap position ordinary, but should’ve been discovered at rough in stage so a request to move it could’ve happened.

Their display home is fine. It is the question of whether it is what you see is what you get. Very deceiving.
Oh my apologies then, I swore you said “Display home quality questionable”.
It looks like the shower rose will hit the floor if you drop it. Was there a shorter hose option?
Got to say from pictures which can be very deceiving, bathroom quality looks really good, was a very basic mistake as they would of known shower size and didn't fix which leads to why was it not picked up by anyone,supervision missing.

Throughout build process, many errors picked up by owners and brought to attention of SS who always had an excuses after excuses.
Should have been picked up and moved before waterproofing. Plumbers stuffed up first but the waterproofer also didn’t bother checking .

This is 100% true. You can not hang anything on steel frames. very frustrating

I need to replace some lengths of aluminum shower frame but I can't seem to find any suppliers of this stuff. Neither the blue or orange home centers carry these things.…

that will depend on the kitchen bench depth. you'll have to specify it so it allows for both the tap and the sink
