We had some similar issues going from design to construction, but nothing probably as annoying as having to change colours. My last thoughts are if you don’t have long sections of wall with glancing light you may not see much of a problem anyhow. So I would partly base my decision on this. Anyhow you are entitled to push your builder on the issue, but they might get you to sign some sort of disclaimer if you want to proceed with your original paint selection?
