Browse Forums Building A New House Re: NBN connection to new home build 3Jun 14, 2019 10:44 am MillennialFHB Hey guys, I'm currently in the process of getting a preliminary quote from a builder and I'm being charged $2795 for "Provide Fibre Optic Connection (NBN) including Garage Hub and 3 internal data points." I have a NBN pit in the nature strip of my block and the builder inclusions mention "Fibre (NBN) run in and draw string (for connection by others.)" I think this is a super excessive amount considering that NBN do the installation for free. Is this something I can take as a credible charge? Location: Timbertop Estate, Officer, Vic 3809 All nbn does is pull the cable through all the conduits the builder has installed in your new house.. Without the conduits. It will be a mess. So NBN is not doing much at all. 3 47411 Hi all I'm currently building a duplex in Sydney and we need to do a new water connection to the second unit.
