Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Jun 02, 2019 1:21 pm Hi all, looking for some advice please. In our bathroom plans we originally had a nieche built into the wall with a dual showerhead hand shower rail. For some reason that I can’t remember the builder then said a nieche couldn’t go there no suggested a shelf instead and the design got changed. we signed off on it without actually looking at the drawings. Now it has been installed it seems the showerhead is pretty much redundant. You would have to actually be pressing yourself against the wall to use the shower and turning around etc would be difficult. Late Friday we got an email with the drawings saying that the placement is correct as per the drawings. I accept that it is but now we don’t know our position being that the showerhead isn’t really functional. Can anyone advise where we stand on this issue. (Asides from standing against the wall haha) Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Re: New build- showerhead placement 2Jun 03, 2019 1:18 pm The drawing you've attached below shows the shower rail/head in the center of the shower however the photo looks like it's off to the side. Does the drawing you have signed off on show it in the center? If so I would say you have a pretty strong argument.
